anonymouse doesn’t craft

So now that Pipsqueak is in her big girl room, I’m itching to outfit it in all manner of accessories so that it can be finished.

A friend had suggested hanging the tissue paper pom poms, so I hopped on etsy as I do not craft.

As I’m perusing etsy, I come across some cute tulle pom poms.

Since I am, what we call, a fan of tulle; I’m now married to tulle pom poms being in Pipsqueak’s big girl room.

As I’m trying to decide between mini, small or large (medium is just so average); and teal versus turquoise versus aqua…or maybe some of each!… the strangest idea popped into my head.

“I wonder if I could make those myself?”

Seeing as how they are actually a handmade item, you might be thinking that it isn’t such a strange question.

If that is what you are thinking, you obviously don’t know me at all.

I don’t craft.

I don’t make things.

Except cookies and cakes.

I buy things.

I don’t make things.

So, I googled something like “tulle pom pom diy”.

I don’t diy.

One practice pom pom, a trip to Hobby Lobby and five more pom poms later…

…I diy-ed.

It’s not a coincidence that this could be read “died.”

Seriously.

Anyway, Plan A is to hang them at varying lengths from a pre-existing in the room curtain rod. Plan B is to fashion them into some sort of garland to hang from said curtain rod. Plan C is to have a very pretty, fluffy trash can and a very empty curtain rod.
