a girl and her muddle

Posted in mousie at 8:59 pm by Anonymouse

Tonight we went to some friends’ house for a cookout.

And then…

We ate, kids played, adults talked.

And then…

I ate a smores brownie.

And then…

The neighbor came over with some uh-maze-ing spring rolls that I HAD to try.  You know, to not be rude.

And then…

I ate another smores brownie.

And then…

Baby Swiss went to play outside.  Without her shoes naturally, since it was muddy.

And then…

Baby Swiss poked around in a mud puddle (heretofore referred to as “Muddle”).

And then…

Baby Swiss stepped in Muddle.

And then…

Baby Swiss stomped in Muddle.

And then…

I cried about the laundry I was going to have to do.

And then…

Baby Swiss was feeling spiritual and immersed herself in Muddle.

And then…

I accepted the fact of the laundry I was going to have to do.

And then…

Baby Swiss tasted Muddle.

And then…

Baby Swiss attempted to wipe Muddle’s taste off her tongue.  With her hands that were covered in: Muddle.

And then…

It kept tasting bad, so Baby Swiss kept wiping.

And then…

Baby Swiss’ mama was laughing too hard to help, so someone else had to bring her a glass of water.

And then…

Well, you can imagine the nakey-ness, the bath, the laundry, etc.

And then…

I blogged about it all and posted a picture taken before the immersion.

her face is awe.some. way to go for you letting her play in the muddle. i might be too up tight for that…but have never been presented with such an opportunity, so hard to say for sure. but mom points for you…definitely. show her that picture when she’s sixteen, and you won’t give her the keys, and she screams “you never let me do ANYTHING!”
