urgent call to prayer

Posted in mousie at 8:35 pm by Anonymouse

We’ve received a bit of bad news tonight.

One of our most beloved friends – really, she’s more like part of our family – is not doing well.

It would seem that an amputation of the right leg is imminent if Baby is to pull through this extremely difficult physical trial.

We can’t believe that such a significant physical ailment is plaguing our beloved Baby at such a young age – just a little over two months until her first birthday.  However, we know that God has a plan for her little life and we can rest knowing the joy that she has brought to all of us – specifically Baby Swiss.

We are so glad that she was able to celebrate Aunt & Uncle’s wedding and meet many of our extended family while she was still well enough to use all of her limbs.  We are also so thankful for the wonderful Adirondack chair that she will now have to live out the rest of her days, as we don’t see that a prosthetic is a real possibility, given her lack of muscle.

Please join us in prayer, but also be sensitive to our grief at this time.

Thank you.

DUCT TAPE. Quickly! With a large infusion of duct tape, applied via IV to the limb in question, I feel that you could save the limb so that Baby could continue to live her life as normally as possible, you know, for a baby with no clothes.

Is Baby from “bitty baby ” decent? Like American Girl Bitty Baby? They have a “hospital” for sick babies…you just have to send them in, and they come back healed with a bit bandaid…
