easter recap: the jellybean edition

Posted in mousie at 1:56 pm by Anonymouse

Yesterday was Easter.

We started the day off with some Easter dress pictures.

If you know me at all, you are shocked to see that I chose matching dresses for my girls.

Or maybe not.

We got a little silly by the end of our photo shoot.

Silly is okay though.

You have to take some risks sometimes to get a great shot.

Next we went to church because we were, after all, celebrating the resurrection of our Savior.

I churched it up and then taught 12 precious little toddler/2s friends.

It was semi-controlled chaos with a classroom full of jelly bean fed children.

Next up – Easter dinner with friends and more friends and more friends.

21 people this year.

We attempted a family photo.

Someone was too busy eating jelly beans.

In every single picture we took.

That’s okay though because my hair looked awful in every picture.

We came home, had naps, opened Easter baskets, ate some more jelly beans…

Then, the girls played a little game of you-better-run-girl with Daddy while I made some peanut butter & jellybean sandwiches.

Just kidding – no jellybeans in the sandwich, although I totally should try that next Easter.

Don’t say I never gave you anything.

I made jellybean pancakes a couple of weeks ago.

Silly is adorable! Jelly beans are meant to be eaten in mass quantities. Especially Sweettart jelly beans…:)
